Simply Tomatoes

Simply Green Tomatoes is grown and manufactured by the Lanyon family in the Boort district.

The district is well known within horticultural and agricultural industries with the first processing tomatoes grown in 1974. With this came a change in farming practices and ideas. Grapes, peppers and olives followed along with the development of trickle irrigation. Corn, sunflower and onions are grown as rotational crops using technology adopted from tomato production.

Simply Green Tomatoes' employees are sourced from the local community.

The green tomatoes are hand-picked and begin their process the very same day in a clean and safe environment at Terralea Farms. The tomatoes are preserved in brine for two days and on the third day of manufacturing the green tomatoes are finished off with extra virgin olive oil, herbs and garlic. 'Simply Green Tomatoes' are very nutritional, with no sugar, preservatives or colours added, and also low in cholesterol and gluten free.

After favourable reviews and many awards, Simply Green Tomatoes are now being sold in over 20 countries.
